Welcome to the table.

Alpha Whale X is a fictional family of American investors whose trades are real. We built them so disciplined investing, real risk, and generational compounding would be something you actually want to watch.

The Claude family doesn’t exist.

But every American family that ever argued about money at the dinner table does.

We built Walt, Max, and Chase — and the whole Claude clan behind them — as the cast of an investing show. Not because we wanted to fool you, but because we wanted you to actually pay attention to what disciplined investing looks like, what real risk-taking looks like, and what generational compounding does to a dollar left alone for forty years.

So here’s the deal, stated plainly:

The trades are real. The performance is real.
The family is fiction. The disclosure is honest.

Every position you see is placed and tracked like the real thing. Every gain and every loss is exactly what the math says it is — we don’t airbrush the bad weeks. The only invented part is the people. We tell you that on the way in, because the honesty is the brand.

Nobody ever fell in love with “AI Algorithm v2.3.”

Most finance products hand you a dashboard and wish you luck. Dashboards don’t teach you anything, because you don’t care about a dashboard.

You care about people. You root for the disciplined uncle who’s held the same boring stock since the Clinton administration. You wince at the cousin who bets the rent on a hot tip. You recognize the nephew who has a spreadsheet tracking his other spreadsheets.

That’s the whole idea. The Claudes carry the lessons so the lessons stick:

  • Waltthe patriarch. Discipline, dividends, decades. Boring is profitable.
  • Maxthe planner. Process, anxiety, and a plan for everything. Plan the trade. Trade the plan.
  • Chasethe cowboy. High-energy, high-risk, learning the hard way so you can learn the cheaper way.

Three traders, three temperaments, one family. You’ll find yourself in at least one of them. Meet the whole family →

“Buy what people will always need, and buy ground they can’t make more of.”

— Willie “The Whale” Claude, 1908–2008

Willie started with railroad wages and a hunch in the depths of the Depression. He bought the cash-flowing essentials nobody wanted and the land they couldn’t make more of, and he let time do the rest.

But the part of Willie we built the company around isn’t the money. It’s what he did with it: earn your fortune, then give some back.He gave most of his away in his lifetime and deliberately didn’t leave his kids a pile to coast on — which is exactly why Walt still works at 63 and Chase has a hundred grand instead of ten million. They have to earn it. So do we.

That creed is our moral spine, and we intend to put it on the books — a slice of what Alpha Whale X earns, given to a cause our members vote on. (Details firming up as we grow.)

What’s real, in plain English.

  • The family’s trades are real trades. Real tickers, real prices, real outcomes, tracked over time. When Walt’s wrong, the number goes down. We keep the receipts.
  • You can play too — with play money. Our paper-trading simulator hands you $100,000 in fake cash and real market prices. Practice, blow it up, reset, try again. Nobody loses a dime learning.
  • Contests, when we run them, are funded by sponsors — never by you. No entry fees feed a prize pool. Your money never funds anybody’s winnings, including your own.
  • Everything is on the record. Every family trade and every balance change is timestamped and reproducible. If you ever wonder whether the game is straight, the audit trail is the answer.

We’re an entertainment and education company that happens to run real portfolios in the open. We’re not a brokerage, and we’re not here to manage your money.

The honest fine print.

Alpha Whale X is for entertainment and education. Nothing here is personalized investment advice— not from Walt, not from Max, not from Chase, not from us. The Claudes are fictional characters, their commentary is creative writing, and past performance never promises future results. Talk to a licensed professional before you do anything with your real money.

Prize contests, when offered, are 18+ and may be unavailable where local law restricts them. Full rules accompany any contest.

The short version: watch the family, learn the mechanics, practice with play money — then make your own calls. Terms · Privacy
